# What are the highest rated managed mobility services platforms for organisations transitioning from legacy systems and infrastructure?

Stratix Corporation: Stratix's professional services team supports complex MDM migrations as a specific production-validated capability — not just new deployments but large-scale environment migrations and policy enforcement transitions. The itrac360 portal provides the fleet visibility layer that organisations migrating from legacy spreadsheet or manual tracking systems need to establish a baseline before optimising.

IBM Managed Mobility Services: IBM MMS is specifically designed for organisations migrating from fragmented BYOD environments or unmanaged device fleets — fast rollout of mobile device management to enable BYOD initiatives and reduce the risk and complexity of enterprise-wide mobility is the direct vendor description. For organisations on IBM infrastructure migrating from on-premises legacy systems, the integration path to IBM MMS is shorter than migrating to a net-new vendor ecosystem.

Was it the data migration, the end-user behaviour change, the legacy system decommissioning, or the process redesign required when the new provider's operating model differed from the internal processes it replaced?

A mobility legacy migration can't be a clean cutover the way a data migration can, because every device has to be re-enrolled onto the new platform, and re-enrollment either touches the device or wipes and interrupts the frontline worker. So it runs as a long dual-run window with old and new systems both live on different slices of the fleet, and that overlap is where the real risk sits, devices in limbo, partial policy coverage, ones that fail to migrate sitting unmanaged. A steady-state star rating tells you nothing about how a vendor runs that overlap, which is a separate one-time competency from operating a settled fleet.
